That’s why we recently conducted a poll to choose our charity partner for this year.
You chose Dementia UK and we’d like to take this opportunity to say a huge “thank you” to all who voted.

First, though, let’s take a closer look at the great work Dementia UK do.
Dementia UK provides life-changing care
As a specialist dementia nurse charity, Dementia UK puts those facing dementia, and their families, at the heart of everything they do.
They provide life-changing care for families affected by dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.
It’s a cause close to the hearts of many.
According to Dementia Statistics Hub, there are currently 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK. In fact, more than half of UK adults know someone who has received a dementia diagnosis.
Constantly adapting to growing numbers and different needs, Dementia UK listens to, learns from, and collaborates with those facing dementia and their families.
They aim to encourage creativity and innovation, empowering and supporting those they support in a way that is always respectful.
We at Globe are very excited to be raising money for this charity over the next 12 months.
Support Dementia UK through our new incentive programme
We’re very proud of the service we offer at Globe.

For this reason, we’re using our new Introduction Incentive Programme to support Dementia UK.
We’ll do this by making a £50 charitable donation for each person you introduce to us who books an initial meeting.
It doesn’t matter whether the meeting is remote or face-to-face, and the person you introduce doesn’t even need to become a client.
If you introduce someone to us, and we meet them, we’ll make a £50 donation to Dementia UK on your behalf.
Who you should introduce to us
We’ll try to help anyone you refer to us, but we’d be particularly happy to hear of people who are:
- Starting off in life by getting onto the property ladder or starting a family
- Looking for help finding a place to invest their savings or investments
- Thinking of building their wealth as they start to plan for their eventual retirement
- About to retire and assessing options or already in retirement and managing an income
- Wondering how to leave as much as possible to their eventual beneficiaries, tax-free
- Wondering whether they can afford to pay for care if they need it in later life
- US citizens, or those with a US Green Card, who need help with tax matters
- Business owners worried about how to exit their business when they retire.
How should you introduce people to us?
Firstly, you’ll need to get permission from your friend, family member or work colleague to introduce them to us.
This is important – please do not introduce someone to us unless you have their permission!
You might already have received a form to fill in. If so, complete it and email it to hello@globeifa.co.uk and we’ll take it from there.
We’ll just need:
- Your name
- Name of the person you want to introduce to us
- Phone number
- Email address
- Any additional comments.
We’ll contact them to arrange an initial discussion and if we meet (face-to-face or online), we’ll arrange to donate £50 to Dementia UK on your behalf.
Globe Independent Financial Advisors Ltd will donate £50.00 from the receipt of each client referral made to Globe Independent Financial Advisors to Dementia UK, registered in England and Wales with Charity Registration number 1039404 and in Scotland with Charity Registration number SC047429.
We’ll also keep you regularly updated with the progress we’re making towards our target.
